Welcome The Emerald Aquatics’ (EA) coaches, and board would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to one of the most distinctive swim teams. EA sets itself apart by offering a program where all levels and ages of competitive and fitness swimmers can excel. Our masters program offers at least 9 practices a week year around, more in the summer and all of which are coached. We have long course practices throughout the summer at one of the states nicest 50m pools and organized lake swims two times a week during the summer. On top of our generous array of swim times there are monthly newsletters, socials, dual meets, postal swims, clinics, and a website. Seasons We swim year around, but the year is broken down into seasons. The monthly payments are made from the total cost, divided evenly between the months. Therefore, even during months with holidays, the cost is the same. Short Course season is September through March, and Long Course Season is April through August. We take breaks between seasons of one to four weeks in which there is no practice. In March it coinsides with the schools spring break. In August it is after our annual lake swim for three weeks. EA Membership Fee There are two options for payment. Payment option is selected at time of registration. Monthly, yearly or punchcard payments are options. Full payment of the year (Sept.-Aug) and a 5% discount will be given. For those who choose to pay monthly, we require monthly auto-pay deductions. This must be completed and received by EA with registration form. A debit authorization form is included. Registration Fees As a member of EA, swimmers are required to become members of USMS. You can find the registration form on the Oregon Masters Swimming website. Please mail this in on your own! Meet Entry Fees Masters meets you sign up for independently. If you are interested in attending USAS meets please speak with coach Gina. This is a great option for those looking for a local meet! Logo Gear We do a team order two times per year. This includes our team suit and other logo gear clothing. This year we’re doing warm ups and shorts. An Emerald Aquatics team cap is encouraged during meets. The first cap is free upon entering the first meet, and subsequent caps are $3. Fee Schedule For little more than the pool entrance fee you get coaching too! What a deal. These fees cover the entrance to the pool and the coaching. 1)Punchcard: $65/10x pay as you go 2) 10x/mo: $52/mo plus $50 team registration fee for the year. 3) unlimited/mo: $67/mo plus $50 registration fee for the year.
